Has it ever be considered to use part of the druridge bay lake complex as a trout fishing area? Personnally I feel that if this was to hsppen,it would generate a large revenue as well as provide jobs for the local community. As one of Northumberlands top hobbies there are no local facillities for the residents of Hadston/Amble area.

There's any amount of trout fishing in Northumberland.

If this idea was to take hold (I hope it doesn't, and I'm speaking as an angler myself) there's far less *coarse* angling in Northumberland - and it's by far the biggest "growth area" in the sport - so a coarse fishery would make far more sense.
